CULTURE, DANCE, CALENDAR OF ACTIVITIES



CULTURE

  •  Iquitos culture is reflected by history, ethnic groups, and the image of the city Amazon.


  •   Their culture is described as "Amazon strongly rooted cosmopolitan '.

 DANCE

CALENDER OF ACTIVITIES


  • Iquitos has a calendar of festivities beginning with their own popular carnival in late February and early March.

  • On June 24 we celebrate the feast day of San Juan, in which it is customary to give the community picnics in San Juan where he tasted the famous juane with chicha (drink made from corn).

  • In summer there is a week tour with a varied program of activities where you can enjoy traditional dances, meals, tours, parties, election miss tourism and craft fairs.

  • The Santa Clara festivities take place in the rural community of Santa Clara for ten days in mid-August with food tasting and craft fairs.
